This quote sounds so conceited 😂 and rather possessive, let’s expand and explain 😅 ‘Every portrait that is painted with feeling is a portrait of the artist. It is not he who is revealed by the painter; it is rather the painter who, on the coloured canvas, reveals himself.’ - Oscar Wilde
My love for fashion is so immerse you guys. Without fail every season someone always comments on how big my eyes are or how smiley I am! Literally I look like a fool. Drunk in love! Especially Men’s fashion week, I feel like it’s a weekend where boundaries are broken. And there’s this vibrance that we don’t see on the streets, or on the average joe! Here’s thing I scouted the streets of London, looking for working men that are quite expressive! Flamboyant even. Because how can there be this diversity, this wide range in colour, cuts, textures, patterns in high end but does not transcend to the streets? Like I’ve never seen so much navy and black in my life! Worn similarly too. So bland.
I can’t wait for this semester, I’m going to be doing a lot of investigation. Though the project did not go according to plan, there were some nice encounters! My forecast tells me the dapper gentleman is back, tailoring and suits, it would be interesting to see everyone’s interpretation. Keep posted, I’ve got something special brewing for you gents for the upcoming week on ‘The Nom Express.’ #fashionblogger #photographer #photojournalist #nom
This is pretty early even for me 😂what can I say...new year new me 😏
So, highlight of London Fashion Week was me nearly buying a skateboard in that very street! I’m still considering it you know 😶
Anyhoo, there’s something about the back of heads, the way the hair falls or rather how someone express themselves determines your opinion of them before they even turn around. I like to think of it as a blurb, a glimpse of who they are but not quite. Draws intrigue.
His colour block shirt caught my eye.
Description : a portrait of the back of a head’s attendee in men’s fashion week. Dressed in a colour blocked shirt, red and grey, his brown curls cascade to his neck.
